Culture Night 2012 was a successful event with many positive feedback from the participants. We, VSA truly appreciate your support during the event. It is the motivation to push us go further in the future. If you still have not watched the videos from culture night, visit our YouTube page to have a look. Here are some updates for Spring 2012 in case you wonder what we have planned:
- This week’s meeting (4/19) is about traveling in Vietnam. Come find out the best way to travel in Vietnam, what to eat, what to skip, and how to make the most out of your trip. Get ready for the summer!
- DisOrient Film Festival is coming in one week. This year, the festival will show four movies about Vietnam. The most prominent one is Touch, which is directed by Minh Duc Nguyen a Vietnamese American film maker. VSA is proud to get involved with the film festival this year. Come enjoy the festival and volunteer next weekend!
- Phở Night is officially happening on May 10, 2012. It is midterm time and you are probably busy. Why don’t you take a break, enjoy a hot bowl of phở, and recharge your energy? It is $3 for one bowl. All proceeds will go toward Children of Vietnam. Treat yourself while doing something good!
